To be fair, Jan's not the one who's on here moaning about something that happened 50 years ago.

wink
I’m not moaning, I got away with murder from 1963 to 1968, now back to houses.
Anything decent near Westerham, Kent?

very nice

started imagining how you could update whilst keeping all the period features and then read the dreaded words "grade II* listed"

This has come up for sale, with less pictures though than before. It use to show a heap of the car collection, but i'm not sure how you find the old adverts of it.
A bit of Googling suggests that the owner of that place might be Steve Soper.
Yes, I believe that's the case. It's a lovely place isn't it. Some of the places people post on here are just nice houses but this genuinely qualifies as property pawn.
whats happened to the price of the place in that time period....? Anyone know?

It seems to have held firm at the same £15M. This is a 2016 listing:

That's the same ad. Very nice pad though, shame they don't show the garage, that must be interesting!

In a conservation area too, think the wife was half tempted to go take a look until we saw that. I guess it’ll be coming to AirBnB soon.

I can't see a lot wrong with this except maybe transport links.
House and views are quite something.

Remote, windswept location that’s bleak at the best of times, and especially in winter. Horrible plastic windows in a nice traditional longhouse. And £1.1m. They’re having a laugh.

No good for a PHer: the garage is miles from the house. On the plus side, I do like the way they’ve placed the outside loos for hygiene and privacy.

Ditto, near perfect. You could keep your central London studio flat for the same money.

Be prepared to put up with fairly extreme weather, even in summer! I’ve worked near there a few times in relation to wind turbine development and I can see why the developers chose the area biggrin
