If I had to live in a house that ugly, I'd try to camouflage it too.

yuck
There are some before and after pictures on the website - it looked better before he went at it with the bulldozers and the paint roller.

Roadside location apart I think that's pretty cool. I could live in it.
I know the road & I wouldn't.
I agree with Eddie, the risk of being killed by avalanche is too high for me. That and the traffic and the fact it's an ugly rat-rod house...

Even at half the size that would be too big but I do love the style, I am very much into that New England look. Plus I really love the pool setting, its exactly how I would do it

It is too big, but the real deal breaker is having Olde Towne as an address. What's wrong with Splott (for instance)

I could be wrong, but I'm inclined to say that's an old photo. Certainly didn't look like that in a video a couple of days ago.

At some point in the design of that abortion, an architect put down their pen and thought, yep that's perfect, my work here is done.

One assumes that same architect went into their profession with dreams of building beautiful buildings, and wonders what happened in their life that they thought that result was anything like acceptable?

Quite the worst exterior design on a new build I've ever seen. All of the retained knowledge and evolved expertise from elegant period buildings over the last 400 years and this is what they produce. Mind numbing.

Or any privacy in the en suites. How much of your partner's bathroom activity do you really need to be exposed to?

I used to drive past the full build of this place every week or so. I saw it rise from the ground. http://housepartnership.co.uk/property/26771585/

Not convinced on the brick colour but I like what they have done and the interior would suit me. It's tasteful in my opinion.

The use of the mirror (unless I've gone all Stevie Wonder) wall makes me hate estate agents even more.

There's a lot to like there. There a couple of things that put me off, just a few bits that feel too modern. Mainly the taps and the glass bits round the balcony. And I'm not sure about the colour of the window frames, it feels like it could do with a little colour.

But I'm no expert, and the interior otherwise is really very nicely done. One of the best new-builds for a long time on this thread.

A lot to like there, for me. But despite having what looks like a proper garage block, you only actually get a double car port and a single garage suitable only for a smart car, ridiculous.

Blame the council. The original plan was for substantial garaging. I took a nosey on the planning portal. This was knocked back as was a tennis court, because, ramblers would see it. I kid you not. The owner even offered to shroud the court perimeter in mature trees but still rejected. The garage was knocked back because the council feared the owner could then convert it to living space.

At 7'9" wide that garage is useless for any modern car. Most are around 6'6" wide so that leaves you about 12" to get the door open (leaving 3" on the other side) !!! STupidity.

That's gorgeous. Looks like a Neptune showroom, but I've always loved their stuff.
