See all those lighter green blobs in the blue water, those are the alligators biggrin

I think that is proper cool and exactly what is thread is about. Saying that it is not where I would want to live!

Lift the drawbridge and its a pretty good deterrent to inlays and jatovas witness types!

Good job we're all different eh? To me that's about as far from cool as you could get - it's totally, utterly crass. biggrin

Be prepared to put up with fairly extreme weather, even in summer! I’ve worked near there a few times in relation to wind turbine development and I can see why the developers chose the area biggrin
The windows are a bit of a shame, hadn't spotted them, but maybe a compromise against the conditions you suggest.

Wonder if the stables could be used as a garage. Double doors wide enough?

Maybe need a conveyor set up like that London house has in the basement or a turn table.

Edge of the lake District yes it’s going to be bleak at times and bad in winter but that’s part of the appeal to me.

12 acres, no neighbours is the icing in the cake.

Wigton isn't the end of the world - but you can probably see it from there!

Low ceilings, strip lights and tiny windows would do my head in - shame in such a remote location.

It’s awful. I bet that pond stinks. It looks like a lego land exhibit.

I thought it must be a computer rendering for a while, but no, someone actually built it. In a pond.

Based on a 2 min look, it's nice. Not far from me.

It looks like two semis knocked together based on the first photo only. Having the wall next to the door splits the house up.
