How about an 83,000 acre property in Colorado with your own 14,000 foot mountain (plus 18 other peaks over 13,000 foot). It comes with five houses and several other buildings. A snip at $105 million.

Possibly a bit McMansion for some but I like modern/new build properties.
McKFCSubKingMansion more like. Horrific.
Agreed, I'm not a fan at all.
At some point in the design of that abortion, an architect put down their pen and thought, yep that's perfect, my work here is done.

One assumes that same architect went into their profession with dreams of building beautiful buildings, and wonders what happened in their life that they thought that result was anything like acceptable?

Quite the worst exterior design on a new build I've ever seen. All of the retained knowledge and evolved expertise from elegant period buildings over the last 400 years and this is what they produce. Mind numbing.
It has been on the market since 2014, originally listed at £5.9 million

Ps. It includes "Culebra Peak, one of the only fourteeners on private land. Access is limited, and a fee (currently $150 per person) is charged to climb the peak. Ownership of and access to the land, both for recreational and other activities, have been controversial issues for many years, involving multiple lawsuits and even occasional violence."

I used to drive past the full build of this place every week or so. I saw it rise from the ground. http://housepartnership.co.uk/property/26771585/

Not convinced on the brick colour but I like what they have done and the interior would suit me. It's tasteful in my opinion.
There's a strong colour cast on the external photos, probably makes it look worse than it is.

I could probably slum it here if i had too. Like the old/new mix and the love snug in pic 15 for entertaining the harem.

The use of the mirror (unless I've gone all Stevie Wonder) wall makes me hate estate agents even more.

This picture confused me so much until I realised there isn't any reflections in it, just two different guys in blue jumpers and lots of frameless glass hehe

Interior is spot on too. Way better than one done by an 'interior designer'. One of my favourites on this thread I reckon.

Norfolk is our thing at the moment and current dreaming is persuading the in-laws to sell up with us and move here:

Gardens could perhaps be a tad bigger but plenty of room for 3 kids to run around safely!

Very nice, but the horrible greenhouse nailed onto the dining room would need to be replaced with something more appropriate.

4500sq ft in one of the best residential areas iof Sheffield, for under £1m... needs a fair bit of decor, but it's a lot of house for the money. And it's got a ballroom...

It's been a while since somewhere I've worked at has come up on here. I was there last year, lovely surroundings; within easy walking distance of Hathersage. Like most properties of any decent age, it needed work and I'd imagine it would be an ongoing concern.

Here's one near me.

I'm dont know its recent history and I only became aware of it while day dreaming. Not a pretty house, but a fair size, reasonable location (but not too far away from both Doncaster and Worksop..). The kitchen seems to be perhaps of this century but not sure on anything else. I do like some of the furniture and artwork, presumably they're not included - perhaps just dressing?
