Ex Churches just look like well - churches! I am out.
I really like that - would love to live in an ex-church like that; Not there and at that price though!!

You might like this one then; it's very nice and inexpensive. A bit out of the way though...

Nice for the price, although I suspect less so if over here.

That's very, very nice. Part of our house is a former Primitive Methodist chapel from circa 1820, so I do have a soft spot for this kind of thing.

It's all be closed off now look left on view below (since 2014 on streetview) but this is the view directly out across the road.

It still doesn't look like the sort or place you could be a meat eater, or a cyclist.

We live in a converted church and our living room is almost as big as this example and we absolutely love it. Every time I see photos of houses with small spaces (and low ceilings: you love low ceilings in England... :-) I feel cramped. How can you live in a room with a ceiling lower than 4 meters?

eta: looks like a nice house but would you spend this much in this part of London?
over 6 foot tall so I hate low ceilinged "cottages" and old farmhouses, but if all my entertaining space was one big room it would annoy me, eg kitchen smells spreading, not being able to watch TV loud without annoying others, or wanting two TVs which then compete (I have this now as kitchen with TV has open walkway to TV room)

I was going to say that's lovely for the money, but in fact it's just lovely.

Garage is no wider than its door. Would you be able to put a super car in there? And be able to get out?

Apparently it's 10'- 6" x 29'-7". Don't know if that takes into account the piers, mind. Though somehow I doubt it.
