Saw this in the estate agents window yesterday near me. They're happy to list £2m properties but this has a POA suggesting it could be slightly out of the reach of your average 3 bed semi purchaser. Nice location and plenty of space although the interior is a bit premier league footballer for my tastes.
That is truly hideous inside and out. An exercise in how not to have any taste in interior decor whatsoever. vomit

Love the other posters use of 'ghastly' by the way, totally accurate description.

I've seen much worse doesn't look too bad, the problem is the outside photos are crap, i think they must have got a drone and trying to get their monies worth.

I think it's great biggrin

As was said earlier on, we all have different tastes and aspirations. Mine are based on me being a fairly shallow money-obsessed wannabe-nouveaux riche accountant who grew up in a terraced house in a northern mill town biggrin

There is no redeeming feature about that house.
They've even managed to make a mess out of the swimming pool room.

To my eyes the interior is hideous! Brand new build with pseudo tudor fireplaces etc. no doubt the footballer will be throwing the leg bones of his chicken meal to his great dames! Ghastly! Oh and the outside look like a posh office building not a home. vomit
Looks like a nursing home that's been (ahem) modified into a domestic dwelling by a recent lottery winner.

Truly fking gopping.

I don't think there is even a single element, even taken in isolation, that I like about that house. It is ugly, tasteless, overdone and completely devoid of any genuine design flair.

Do people really think that over-sized marble pillars = posh?

That fireplace is obscene, I would feel like one of The Borrowers sitting there.

It's as if they've tried to re-create the inside of the Trafford Centre in their house.

There is no fracking going on nearby, or anywhere else in Northumberland.
Yes, sorry I stand to be corrected, it was a few years back when we looked at this house, its open cast mining, not fracking that is taking place behind the house to extract 130,000 tonnes of coal

This is actually a few miles from Lyme Regis, but I think it's warranted here:

Rightmove postcode generated map is the most innacurate one I've seen so far, it's nowhere near where the pin is placed. It's in Lyme Regis here - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Lyme+Regis/@50... - grey roof centre of the screen, to the left of "Skerries".
