It needs a kitchen, and once all the furniture is out I bet the majority of it would need decorating, but otherwise, what a lovely place. Does it have night storage heaters everywhere as well? If it needs a full heating install as well, then it starts to sound like a bit more work.

Locally, this popped up in my search:

It's got some low beams, odd angles, and funny spaces, as you might expect with any 16th century farmhouse. I would never fit in it, but it would be perfect for a jockey...
Stunning. Love it.

It's lovely. Just a little clinical, but nothing that a child and a few dogs couldn't put right!

Great find laugh

You can imagine the estate agents heart dropping when he saw it, would be difficult to shift at any price but presumably the current owners are very proud of what they've done and spent there.

Somebody has thrown a lot of time, effort and cash at making it look that bad scratchchin.

This would suit me to a tee:

£1,300,000 for 21 acres, and a fantastically proportioned home.

Not my cup of tea but it is very interesting so worthy of a post.

The last three have been very nice, often in their own personal way...

Today, locally, we seem to have something a little older, and a little pinker.

The interior will need a spruce up, unless it comes with all furniture, fixtures and fittings.

I love that, although it needs a bigger kitchen (easily enough doneby going into the study).

I love these Georgian houses, and the setting is amazing - rural and lovely. It just needs a bit of character inside, which is easily enough done with the right wallpapers, paints and furniture.

A cricket player I've never heard of can afford a £2 million house!?
I'm in the wrong game.

Professional cricket players were never paid particularly high salaries until fairly recently. I was friends with quite a few who had distinctly average salaries with a few extras like sponsored cars etc.

I believe Craig Kieswetter got a huge insurance settlement due to his career ending injuries too.

Smashing in just about every way. You don't need more than £2m for a perfect house.
