Hi All
I had missed these posts due to being quite busy on the Intelligent Money thread in the Finance section, which has now become the go to place to take the micky out of me!
Yes, that was a bit of an off field post, but as most people here know, the pool was built for Francesca (who is in it right now) and was always going to be of uniform depth so she could stand up in it at any point.
As others have said, let's keep this a happy thread!

Coincidentally, my daighter is in the stream (the mucky little toad) the pool was built for Francesca (who is in it right now) and was always going to be of uniform depth so she could stand up in it at any point.

That remind me of one unfortunate whose first question in a thread was 'Do you work'?
Julian - remember to keep those new trees watered
I am not sure he will need to the way the clouds are building right nowJulian - remember to keep those new trees watered
Obviously that was a joke!

5 posts, all but 1 are “me me me me“ Is it the School holidays again already?
Julian - love the pictures - Forkys looks fabulous
My late Aunt left me some £, we were going to use it to pay off some of the mortgage but Sarnie said to invest it instead... This gave me Julianesqe ideas, and I mounted a spirited, passionate, well argued campaign; but my husband has (for once) put his foot down & said no - I can’t have a pool (not even a blow up) in the back garden of our semi
To be fair to him, it would be him doing the work of keeping it clean etc (because, like the vacuum, it’s gadgets so he takes it over )
Thanks Ali! Julian - love the pictures - Forkys looks fabulous

Sarnie is a good mate of mine and is usually right! If you would like to chat over investments then just give me a shout, given that is what I do for a living!

Loving the updates.
I don't think much rain water will be getting past the tree canopies and actually into the pots.
You were completely correct and now I think I have more hosing length than B&Q! I don't think much rain water will be getting past the tree canopies and actually into the pots.
(It is very rare that I can boast about length!)
Guess what I have been doing for the last 2 hours!
