Well I've just done a comparison on my annual useage for last year & Bulb are still just less than Octopus by a few pence. It's not worth me switching at the moment unless I find a much cheaper supplier.
Igloo are £2 a month less BUT want to ping me 20% extra for three months over Winter just in case I go negative. No thanks; the aim is to be neutral over the year, not to always be in credit.
Shell are £8 a month more before they raise the prices & their site only seems to work in Chrome so they are out as well

Hmm, Avro would be about £2 a month more than I currently pay for Bulb but fixed for 12 months so no chance of the price going down in the summer. Bulb have said they aren't raising my DD so I'll wait for a couple of months to see if they do & re-evaluate.
I've noticed it's harder to find the page where you enter your annual usage rates on the Bulb site - they want to take a guess. You have to select 'Can't find my address' after entering your postcode & that brings up a different entry screen which eventually includes the actual useage option.

I hardly use any gas but have (yesterday) submitted the requested meter readings for the next bill, I over read the meter by 30kw so that should cover me for a few months before I have to start paying the increased rate
I like this idea.I don't like these changes at all. Several elements with defined timescales are now replaced with extremly woolly definitions like "reasonable" what is reasonable to them may not reasonable to the customers.
The worst is that it seems you can no longer have a zero account balance at the end of your billing period: you need to have at least enough left to cover the next month, which will be hundreds of pounds for some customers. If your monthly payment is £250 you'll have to have £500 in your account after the monthy DD lands in their account.
