Yes what Taylor said, check in days are busy as we have a 10am check out and 2pm check in, with a personal meet and greet and fresh produce in the welcome hamper etc.

And some days we have 4-5 of them on the same day, these are bad days 😂

Am I right in thinking very few holiday home owners use Airbnb?

A lot do but at the higher end you're better using the local premium services. Plus, the majority of holiday homes are statics that have captive agents who run the parks. There are also plenty of big letting services still around.

We have some on airbnb, and they get about 60% through there, the rest come direct, no agencies on any of them.

I would recommend airbnb, its a ready to go platform for very little % commission, then get a basic website and facebook/insta and work on direct too.

Put your cottage name in the airbnb listing, people will find you, google it, see its cheaper direct and then book direct anyway.
