I'm a fan of Patio Magic. It doesn't have immediate results but, over time, will eventually get the green gone. It also seems to persist and prevent regrowth.
Other than the stone slabs, I've used it on my oak fencing to remove the green with good long lasting results.

This - I had the same on some flint gravel on the sections in shade (if it gets full sun it's not an issue as it seems to bleach it) - patio magic, leave a few days, pressure wash off. Its dog safe once dried.

Thanks. I’ll get some patio magic and a shedload of vinegar and try both methods. I shall report findings.
