I have the usage tab and day, week, month, just not live. I do have a mini that I have not setup yet, will have a go later.

When I press "Live - last 30 minutes", it says 'nothing here yet, but if I click 'Day', 'Week' etc it shows a graph.

It’s not normal, at least not once everything is up and running. How long has it been set up? It can take a while before the Octopus back-end system catches up and it starts working. It that normal?
If you’ve got a solid white light then it shouldn’t be a connection issue, either with the meter or with your wifi. If your mini’s light is green, however, it hasn’t connected with your meter so try moving it closer to the meter (but still in wifi).
Also worth forcibly closing the app on your device (on iPhone or iPad, do a partial swipe up from the bottom of the screen, select the app and swipe it upwards to the top of the screen). When you restart the app it might be working. Or try restarting your device.

The meter is in the garage, so not really convenient.

I set up on Saturday?, I think. My questions are on this thread. The light is a steady white.

Ah yes, you did say you’ve got the steady white light. So all is configured and connected okay. White = good, green = not connected to your meter. The meter is in the garage, so not really convenient.
Other than doing a forced shut-down on the app, and/or a forced restart of your device, I’m out of ideas.
Perhaps someone at Octopus needs to give something a prod at their end. If it’s still not working in another day or two, might be worth calling them.

Not on Octopus but looking to move to them in a couple of months. We're doing some work to the house which will include a fairly large solar and battery system.
Intention is in the summer the solar should give us all the electricity we need and would look to export what we don't use. In the middle of winter we'd be importing electricity. I would like to use the battery to charge it overnight and use that electricity during the day.
We will also get an EV so would be looking to charge that overnight in winter.
Which Octopus tariff/rates should I look at and do they have any issues with charging a home battery on the EV tariff's which look to have the cheapest overnight rates ?
Thanks !
We have exactly that and use Intelligent Octopus. Currently 7.5p pkwh. Charge the battery at night and export as much as I can at 15p pkwh on outgoing Octopus. I do this all year round. We have 9.5kwh battery and rarely use anything from the grid, even in the winter.Intention is in the summer the solar should give us all the electricity we need and would look to export what we don't use. A DM on X will likely be a better approach, as it is a faster approach and the 'mini' team are not customer facing so there needs to be a bounce of messages between the customer facing staff and them.Alickadoo said:

Anyone else get a Smart Tariff Founders pack?
And a huge, amazing ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED* Octopoints!?
Yeah we received one of these today. Something about some points and a map of europe. Absolutely no idea what it's about or the point of the map. It's either marketing genius as it makes no sense so people will ask what on earth it's about online, or more (as I suspect) a classic example of a marketing company dreaming something up and assuming that everybody else knows what an octopoint is and er a map of europe. Plus tat as you say.And a huge, amazing ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED* Octopoints!?
