DFS gets a lot of stick on here, but the (Electric powered) suite we bought from them eighteen months ago has been fine.

Just putting the other side of the story...

I hate the censored TV adverts every five minutes though....shoot

It's truly heartwarming to be referred to as both a cock and a pillar of the PH community in one thread.

Thanks.

In this case, our hero bought a sofa. It has a fault. The fault was corrected and he agreed it had been.

He does have rights. He has the right to have minor defects rectified.

He does not have the right to spit his dummy and send it back because it has a few small marks on it!
I couldnt think of a better one, maybe 'mainstay' , 'frequent poster', 'older folk'.

We got a leather one from DFS, as it looks good, is comfy and we were on a budget.

Took ages to come. Got it here and it wasn't finished off properly down the sides of cushions (where cash always falls) few staples were sticking out etc so i got on the phone. Next day a guy came to look at it and said the staples had just missed to wood or something, and made an appontment to come back that week.

He was here few hours taking it to bits etc, re-stapling everywhere actually into the frame! and added some extra foam into the 3 seater (that he didn't have to do) and i was more than happy with it.

Still good now, the leather's unmarked and i've been more than happy with their service.
