^ a japanese person would love that, they seem to all want tiny windows, especially at the front. As much privacy as possible.

Your challenge: find me a less aesthetically pleasing house than this specimen…

I suppose it gives a bigger blank canvas to spray paint ‘PEDO’ on.

Feels like cheating picking a Scottish ‘new town’ but here we go:

Design me some houses, the catch is we have a job lot of odd sized windows we need to use up... laugh

I was surprised at the interior - it's not awful.

House that needs updating, but price appears to reflect it. It doesn't.

It's the second to end house, and a few years ago we looked at the house it's attached to. The noise from the Bypass would send you round the bend. Like permanent tinnitus, which only gets worse if you open the windows.

Still someone is buying it.

Looks like its fortified - that front window I can imagine a machine gun poking out of.

Speaking of garages and Scottish New Towns:

If you think this is the back alley, that's the *front* of the houses on the left.

There are no floorplans on any of them to work out what rooms the windows are for, were they too scared to go in long enough to measure them?

Crikey it makes you glad if you've got the option to live elsewhere. Imagine coming home to one of those, although I suppose at least you can be grateful you've a roof over your head even if there's no windows to see the neighbouring abominations lol!

There are some wonderful properties at very reasonable prices in Scotland but they also have their fare share of really grim stuff as well!

On the upside, not too far from the park for a bit of lying-down dancing with Clare Grogan.

On the small windows theme when I was at school we went on a field trip to Cwmbran as part of Geography. For a bunch of kids growing up in reasonably leafy suburbia it was an eye-opener to say the least

Still the locals had a great time chasing us and we got away without being beaten to a pulp (which I'm sure we would have) so a win-win all round thumbup

Talking of Merseyside houses in need of updating, check this out. Bags of potential right? Apart from the photos that show someone has already started to get stuck in with some new floor beams in places... then presumably decided to cut and run? I wonder what sort of structural or damp or asbestos horrors they found? scratchchin
