The house isn't that bad, but I don't think i've ever seen so many doors in a house of this size. 17 internal doors. This doesn't include the front door and door to the garage. Oh, or the doors to the conservatory and others leading outside.
Maybe ideal if you want some peace - no chance anyone will hear you from one side of the house to the other!
That said, it's about the first time on PH that I've noticed an en-suite having been done correctly with both an ante room and a WC, opposed to it being a wardrobe that people st in. Bad enough in isolation but that price is twice as much as the nicest recently sold property in that little area between Haxy Rd and Huntington Rd.
Gorgeous boarded-up shop. I'd love to live there.Bad enough in isolation but that price is twice as much as the nicest recently sold property in that little area between Haxy Rd and Huntington Rd.

We don't have a separate WC, but there's the bedroom, then the dressing room, then the shower/toilet room.beagrizzly said:

I only found it wasn't a shop when I walked in and found a living room complete with family sitting down for dinner.

Just enjoy the floor plan
It raises a lot of questions. The most PH of which is, how do you get a car into the "garage?"https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/147155504?u...
It begs the question. What the actual fk?
How do you get into the sun lounge?
All these houses have a brick shed with a concrete roof.
I own a similar house around the corner which i rentnout.
They seem to have converted the brick shed to a bathroom. Very "interesting"

Hate seeing these houses where someone lived and has now died, I know to us powerfully built directorial types it's funny, however it's a bit sad really!!
Anyway, wacky conservatory!!!

That is stupid, but fairly easily solved by removing the window, cutting the wall down to ground level and inserting a door.https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/147155504?u...

Nightmare or opportunity? You decide:
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/148306523#/...
It's a lovely part of the world, but you could easily spent more than the same amount again sorting it out. Plus, everything of any value or note has been stripped (even the bell has gone - I'm amazed the roof is still there!), so there isn't even any salvage to be had...

That has loads of appeal to me, something of a dream to live somewhere like that. Sadly I can't even put up a shelf competently so it's unrealistic.https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/148306523#/...
