The plumbing looks like a microbore manifold. Being flimsy pipe, its been hand bent/ curved around the joists and off to a radiator.

It is indeed microbore and the bottom length does indeed bend around a joist but the top length of pipe starts and finishes in the same direction about 15mm apart
