That seller used to be near me, had a kiln and furniture company

I had two loads like this when he was clearing out smile

So what did you do with it?
And please could we have some?

It might have gone in the wood burner - well seasoned, hardwood, that kinda thing... or he now owns a kitchen worktop company.

There was a beech trunk cut into 50mm boards that had some worm in it, I made kitchen work tops with that, avoiding the worms. Too messy for a photo smile

I am an incompetent at woodwork but I like a rustic finish and I enjoy it

I've done an oak boarded ceiling from the worst planks

Floorboarded a 9 x 4 room (unfinished)

All the boards were twisted so I screwed them down and used a hand plane and chisels to take out the lips. Then burnished with the shavings. There's quite a bit of undulation but they don't move, which I like. I'm working on some stubby hand made nails to bond in over the screws.

Couple of doors made by a local joiner

I still have a fair bit left, it's in a portakabin in a barn with a dehumidifier in. I want to use some for kitchen cupboard doors.
