B&Q doors on non B&Q cabinet?
Discussion
HI Guys,
My non B&Q cabinets are in good order and the right colour. Does anyone have any experience of fitting either cooke & lewis or IT range doors to non B&Q cabinets? Forgive my ignorance but I assumed cabinets were roughly the same?
It would be good if this were possible as I can spend the extra on a nicer worktops!
Thanks,
Matt

I have done this in the past with the IT range and some really crappy original new build cabinets.
Check your measurements and be prepared to move your hinges, but otherwise it should be ok.
If you're not desperate for them yet, wait until B&Q have a clearance sale on the doors as they can be reduced massively in price. I picked up the complete set of the Shaker style doors I needed for an average of £3, down from the £15 normal price.

Yes our Kitchen came from Magnet & southern who I think went bust I replaced all the doors from B&Q the top hinge was correct but the lower required drilling I just measured up to the centres and marked a line then positioned the hinge and marked the point for drilling , I put a stop on the drill to stop it going too deep .
It all worked really well.
