Lighting question

What are the lights called that work over a pair of suspended wires across a room ? Normally seen in barn type buildings with a transformer powering the wires .

Less than any other suspended light though?

I would usually prefer other solutions because they introduce clutter into an open space, but can see that they're a good option in lots of places.

TBF with the rise of low current LED lamps wire tracks should perform better, most of the problems I've encountered are either people using 50w lamps in 20w rated ikea carp fittings and general high current /poor connection issues, especially the wire-piercing connections - people dont realise that with 6x 50w lights you'll be drawing 25 amps at the transformer terminals.
