We have a new cooker and washing machine being delivered tomorrow.
I tracked it earlier and it states the delivery will be between 06.30-10.30am eek

I'm not bothered as we are here and ready to receive our shiny new goods, (we've waited a while.)
I'm just a bit shocked that they may possibly be here at 06.30am
Is this right, for some bizarre reason I had it in my head that home deliveries couldn't be made before 08.00am.

We had a new dishwasher deliveried that turned up at 7:15-am, was happy it arrived so early but just didn't expect it to actually turn up so early.

Think of it this way - the difference between 6:30 and 8:00 could mean a dozen or so customers not getting a delivery on the day.

Seems a good idea to me. Get it out of the way, don't need to hang about so much

If that's from ao then the time window narrows the closer you get to delivery.

I ordered a washing machine and dishwasher from AO last week and was told I'd get a text at 7am giving a 4 hour time slot. 6:30am the following morning and I get a call from the driver saying he'll be there in 20 mins, he'd already carried out one drop nearby.

Both appliances plumbed and working for lunch, great service.

Same thing here with AO.com. Washing machine decided to shed its bearings at 3pm on a Say afternoon. New machine ordered on-line a few minutes later - delivery Sun AM. Actually rocked up at 7:30am.

I've always been impressed with Amazon logistics but AO take it to another level - delivering 90kg appliances within 12 hours of order - on a Sunday!

Agreed - AO have been brilliant.

After the painful experience of "knowhow" delivering a washing machine, I wouldn't use anyone other than AO.

Knowhow are part of Currys / Comet / PC world / Dixon - or whatever is left of that group. They are the people who deliver and "instal" the white goods. Or not, as the case might be.

Another positive vote for AO here.

Freezer died and could have had replacement in less than 14 hours but due to work arranged for next day.

Very good service.

It was actually KnowHow and tbh can't fault them.
The guy rang me at 07.45 to let me know they were 20 minutes away, 20 minutes later they turned up.
The main lad of the 3 was a bit, 'jack the peanut' but have to say they all did a cracking job and were very slick.
In and out, no fuss, clean and tidy, I bunged them a few quid to get their breakfast, everyone was happy.
