Fixing sliding bolts to moulded internal doors?

I'm looking at putting double doors in my living room. I like the idea of moulded doors - my currents internal doors are all knotty pine and are all a bit warped.

For the double doors I'd need to secure one side with sliding door bolts at the top and bottom. Can these be fitted to moulded doors? I'm assuming they don't usually have timber blocks at the top and bottom.

A moulded door should have a hardwood edge approx an inch thick all way round, just screw into that
