Dead fish hidden around property.
Discussion
Thought I'd put this in here as opposed to N,P&E because I've seen the subject mentioned in here before, usually as a lighthearted throwaway comment while talking about frozen sausages and red-bull etc. But it seems it does actually happen in real life - poor home owners.

Detectives are hunting vandals who packed a house with dead fish and prawns in a bizarre revenge attack.
Handfuls of rotting mackerel, crabs and langoustine were stuffed into wall cavities and under floorboards at a house being renovated in Stanley, near Perth.
The malicious prank has caused an estimated tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage and there are fears it will be impossible to get rid of the overpowering stench.
Owners have spent more than two years renovating the property, including a roof space conversion with new windows.
Neighbours said much of the work has had to be dismantled after shellfish were discovered behind a kitchen sink.

I know of some plumbers who didn't get paid for work they had carried out as the homeowner ran out of money. They got wind they weren't going to get paid and instead of ripping out what they had done they drilled tiny holes in pipes and loosened fittings, when the homeowner eventually finished the heating and turned on the water if flooded the house. This could be something similar.

It will be a contractor that feels he hasn't been paid his due. Other tricks include pin hols in central heating pipes, concrete in sewers etc
Have you ever witnessed this sort of thing happening? Surely with some of the big builders being as ruthless as they can be at driving down the costs and getting their monies worth this isn't uncommon?Gassing Station | Homes, Gardens and DIY | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
