OP When /if you replace that matting ,make sure the screed underneath is as flat as possible ,perhaps by laying some smoothing compound first . If not the new mat will end up looking like the one in the pic in no time . As that matting is double dear I don't think the garage owner would be very happy . An alternative way to go would be to latex screed the matwell up and use a stick down matting such as Heckmondwike Hobnail .

Just came across this post about the entrance matting. I work for emco UK a matting manufacture. If you need some help with this shot my an email. Can give you a price for replacement and for an install as well if you need. What ever you do just be mindful that aluminium matting is not cheap and if not measured correctly can be a costly error given the tiles are usually our slightly.
