Are there any suppliers of LED lightbulb which will match the colour temperature of a typical incandescent/filament bulb? - I think that's 2400K.

Seen a few in catalogues but not having much luck with suppliers. E27/B22 fittings.

Busily replacing all our bulbs with these: http://www.philips.co.uk/c-m-li/warm-glow-dimmable...

You can get 10-packs of the 6w candles for £50 from Amazon, for instance.

I've fit some 5w LED lamps that look like traditional frosted light 'bulbs' that are colour 2700k to our pendants at home.

They were from an electrical wholesaler called YESSS. They weren't cheap at about £7 or £8 each but they give a pleasant enough light out. Much better than a compact fluorescent lamp.

Some options:

I've used the gold filament bulbs when I've refurbished old Herbert Terry Anglepoise lamps and they fit and look great. Very warm white is very soothing but warm white I think is better. I used 6w in both. 5 year warranty and pretty good value. 4.6% cash back on Topcashback too.

Yes. Look for "filament style" LED bulbs. We have a few in E27, excellent.

This sort of thing:
