Which type of three bed semi,stairs or lounge on party wall

Hi all,

Have some really inconsiderate neighbours.
Just so damn noisy, all the time.

Time to move on in about 3 months, just about had enough of loud gobby neighbours, and there incessant barking 2 dogs, but sadly can not afford a detached.

So, the question is one of these two, or is there another type of semi?

1) Is it better to a semi with adjoining stairs, ie, front doors next to each other
2) Is it better to a semi with adjoining lounges, ie, main front bedroom next to each other also.

Is there any particular name that is given to these semi 's ? ie, adjoining stairs or adjoining lounges

"Halls adjoining" is the term and meant to be more desirable.

Halls adjoining with a separate hall and closed off lounge is the pinnacle. I have stairs cloakroom, bathroom and third bed on the party wall and its pretty good. My friends house with an added enclosed hallway is great though. no noise in the lounge at all. I'd definatly look for this option in a semi.
