Part of the washing machine door seal has torn off which make it leak a bit.

Are these easy to do DIY?

I have looked on youtube and it seems easy enough but they always make it look easy.It looks like a retaining wire from the from, top off, then another wire on the back.

I don't want to try if i'm going to make a hash of it.

It's a samsung machine if that makes a difference.

Thanks

I did the seal on our indesit, had to remove all of the front panel, drawer, control and the big concrete weight to replace the seal. It is not complicated, just takes a bit of time and needed a big torx bit to get the weight off.

What Samsung eco bubble exactly? I did the door seal on mine and it took about 20mins. Was very simple.

I did my whirlpool last week. If you google it there may even be a model specific video on how to to it, there was for mind.

They're not that hard to take to bits, but getting the seal to stay on the door and then getting the sprung, wire strap that holds the seal to the door was a bit tricky. Other than that it was fine.

Looks the same as our one. Take the top off and there is a large hidden clip on the outer section of the seal ( door side ) accessible though the door hatch and also a large springband clip attaching the seal to the drum. From memory you'll need a socket set and long extension to reach it. Will probably help having a second pair of hands so you can hold the drum over a little to improve access. Just take a note of the orientation of everything and it shouldn't take long.
