Lighting a glass feature wall without strong reflections
Discussion
The wall next to our bath is going to be retiled with glass mosaics. I would like to have a separate light shining onto this wall so that it is nice a cosy when you're in the bath.
So, I reckon I've got two options. Easiest is a couple of directional, dimmable downlighters in the ceiling that are angled towards the wall. Downside is they might reflect straight into the eyes of whoever is lying in the bath. The other option is a strip of LEDs inset into the ceiling just above the feature wall. The LEDs would have a frosted plastic cover to diffuse the light.
Has anyone done something like this? How did it go? Are there any other options?

Take a look at litetile illuminated splashbacks. Not quite what you're looking for but could be of interest.

If you go this route and want to minimise, get some low glare downlights (where the led is recessed further in, and with a black baffle).Gassing Station | Homes, Gardens and DIY | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
