Due to an user error on my part (I placed the clothes rack next to the radiator, Doh!) in the bedroom, I have black mould on the window surrounding edges, and directly above on the ceiling. I have done a quick research and HG mould spray is recommended which appears to be a strong bleach.

1) Is HG mould spray the daddy of all mould spray, or is there a better alternative?

2) Any other safety precautions to be follow if I use the HG spray? e.g. dust mask, latex gloves, good ventilation / open window...etc?

3) I plan to use this opportunity to re-decorate the bedroom too. Is there any value to use waterproof primer+ paint (similar to the bathroom)?

I look forward to hearing your tips/recommendation. Thanks!

Quick wipe with Milton is my solution.

HG is the daddy, fantastic stuff. It does honk but open a window and you'll be fine. Shouldn't be any need for waterproof stuff if you don't repeat your mistakes and allow for ventilation.

If using the HG stuff, wear goggles & mask (particularly if spraying a ceiling where the mist will fall back on you).

I don't want an eyeful or lungful of it.
