Is it

A) Nothing to see here move along
B) It'll start leaking better fix it pronto

Why would it be plumbed into an elbow, wouldn't it be better to lose the elbow and have a straight run? Reuse the unkinked flexi or instal new?

If you're not worried by the reduced flow then there's no need to fix it I'd have thought, but for a few quid and skinned knuckles I'd swap. It doesn't look like it's long enough.

I hate them, we have one that was twisted on install and the fitter said there was a problem with the water when we turned on the tap and I looked and clearly saw it had spiral kinked when nipped up.

Plenty people get away with the likes of that for years but personally I’d not be happy leaving it or even reusing a flexi that’s been folded. Not sure how some people sleep at night knowingly installing that….

Why use 1 compression joint when you can use 4 or 5 smile

If it was mine I would be removing all but one of those joints and replacing the flexi for a new one. I am sure it will be fine but most of those fittings are not needed.

I would change it personally, may be part of the reason some fail as they do.

The main sympton will be reduced flow and probably a reduced service life as the kinks create areas of high stress that the pipe wasn't designed for.

I would get it changed so it isn't kinked, probably just needs a longer flexi or go the whole hog and beautify it.

I'll just pop off the elbow and fit a new flexi.
