I need what should be a simple part to fix a cheapo electric tile cutter but my googling is letting me down, partly as I have no idea what it is called.

The cutting blade has a standard 22mm bore but the plastic bit on the motor spindle has completely worn away so the blade can no longer be held centrally and is an accident waiting to happen.

What I need is what I can only describe as a spindle bush with an 8mm bore, 22mm diameter and 2-3mm thickness but can't seem to find one anywhere. What is it that I actually need to ask for? It should be so easy but it's driving me nuts. rotate

Obviously the proper PH answer is to buy a lathe but in this instance might be overkill.

The plastic part on the spindle has basically disintegrated so the blade now has nothing to hold it centrally on the spindle.

Oooooo that's it. An inner blade washer flange. thumbup

Now just got to find one the right size. I've just found a supplier with loads of different ones but they only state the brand and model rather than actual sizes. Lots of cross referencing work coming up.

Looks like they are also called pressure plates, if you can’t find the right size you might be able to get a bore reducer to fit in the blade as a spacer

Proper PH answer is to have a friend with a lathe.

Young people might substitute '3d Printer'?
