De Dietrich applicances - any good?

I'm considering a new cooker and wondered whether anybody has experience of De Dietrich as a brand. reviewcentre.com has a page of disgruntled DeD customers, but are there any gruntled ones?
No, they are rubbish. We had a kitchen full of them when we moved in here and one by one they packed up. The dishwasher was just out of warranty but DD reluctantly agreed to do us a deal on a new one to compensate... at 20% above internet prices. Their final offer was 10% above.
Unfortunately, because we were not the original buyers (we bought the house refurbished) our rights were somewhat limited.
In summary, then, rubbish product and rubbish company.

Contrary view here. We have had them for the past 10 years in the house I've just sold. The dishwasher lasted 9 years with lots of use, the range oven and fridge/freezer are still going strong. I have them in my current rental place which was built in 2002, they seem to be working just fine.We had a kitchen full of them when we moved in here and one by one they packed up. Mixed bag.
Parents had a new kitchen about 10 years ago with lots of DD stuff.
The combi-oven microwave was junk and was repaired numerous times and then finally scrapped after 3 years. They had an electric grill hob thing which never worked that well so that was scrapped. However their large double fridge freezer is still going good, as is the gas rings/extractor and dish washer.

Crap ovens, we had one relaced twice under warranty, bad design fault is the switch for the light and the fan sticks out of the frame at the side, and either gets broken of whilst cleaning or the heat makes the plastic go brittle and then it breaks, and it's a complete bd to fit a new one never mind the expense.
Eventually the kitchen firm were made to swap it for a Bosch which has been faultless for 3 years.
The guy who came to do the repairs said they used to be the dogs danglers until the company got sold to someone else.
