Property transactions missing from house price websites...

I purchased a property last June that has never appeared on the various house price websites and I know of a friend who purchased in 2008 and their purchase never appeared either.

Anyone know why some transactions never shown up?

Because the Land Registry employ the same sort of people who work at DVLA?

The lawyer might have forgotten to submit the details perhaps?

Sometimes you can get around it too by buying the home through a company - I think I'm right in saying only residential sales go through.

Commercial property details are there but do not show on the residential searches.

Have to do individual searches at LR
