Movable platform for Fridge
Discussion
Hear me out!
We'd like to put one of the larger american style fridge freezers in our kitchen, but the space that would be available for it overlaps the kitchen garden door. Since we'll only need access to the door sometimes, I was wondering if there are some movable platforms we could put the fridge so we could 'slide' the fridge left or right depending on when we needed access to the door.
Did that make sense? In my head i've pictured something that might have rollers at the bottom to only allow side to side movement of the fridge, with stops that are predetermined.
Any ideas?

I hadn't considered that fridges have wheels.
I think more expensive ones tend to have wheels at the back. The rest are complete pigs to move; poor design IMHO. And it doesn't take much of a slope on the floor to make a fridge look very wonky - I had to pack a piece of hardboard under the right rear foot on mine.Siemens washing machines and DWs have rear feet you can adjust from the front with a screw, a good idea.
Have a look at some of the more industrial fridges. Like this

Most of them have casters on the bottom.

our samsung is on wheels. Nice and easy to move around the kitchen
I hadn't considered that fridges have wheels. What model of Samsung do you have if you dont mind me asking?I can just see us going to the local currys/comet and asking to wheel around the fridges.
Had it a couple of years - purchased from here
We paid £500 inc delivery - they even brought it into the kitchen for us. It was a very good service - they rang me to check access routes etc.
