I know it's stupid, but .... (stuff in the shed thread)
Discussion
Last year I got sick of replacing the belt in the Flymo for £10 every couple of months, so I bought an old, non functioning Suffolk Punch petrol lawnmower for £5 on ebay. I stripped it down and fixed it up and it's been going strong ever since.
About 6 years ago i sold my motorbikes. I still have the aftermarket exaust from the blade. It resides in the shed, providing a home to many small insects, immediately adjacent to the lawnmover.
For a while now I've had this little voice in the back of my head and it just won't go away.

?
Or is it too silly?

I knew i'd come to the right place.
I shall report back with my progress. I think a custom paint job might be nice, plus perhaps one of those rubber bra things that Volkswagon people like. It's already "slammed" as i like the grass nice and short
I'm not sure it's poissble to contrive a reason to fit lambo doors on a lawnmower though

OP - you don't want to sell the can do you?
It's been knocking about in the shed for a few years now, i doubt anyone would want it, it has a few dingsAt the risk of unleashing the hounds I need to make a quite system louder and don't mind a bit of cut and shut to make it fit
it would be terribly bad form to not follow through
I'm not sure my little suffolk punch can really follow that ride-on mower!
Paint job started at the weekend, but i might change my mind about the glitzy gold bits and do some chrome instead. Exhaust is mounted, but still need to fab someting up to connect it.
Trying to get my hands on some lights....... i might see if i can get some halfords chav gear to stick on it....
