My controller unit for my underfloor heating in the bathroom has packed up (not surprising I guess as its Wickes on brand 'system').

Rather than pay £££'s to Wickes for a replacement which could WELL fail again, can I use another conbtrol unit by a different manufacture?

p.s The bathroom has central heating as well, so the control unit needn't be a room thermostat.

Cheers

To be honest I can't remember...

It was fitted in 2007, and the controller packed up in 2010, i've now just decided to try and do something about it.

I'll check behind the unit tonight to see what's running down to the floor....

Ok I finally remembered to take the control unit and have a look to see what wiring lies behind.

I've got three wires (live/neutral x 3).

I'll be honest, I have no idea what they do, or where they go....

Any help would be appreciated!
