I've got a typical 70s lean to type thing on the back of my place. It's quite useful but needs a bit of a lift.

I want to get a skylight type thing to put on the roof. My mate who is very handy will help me install it.

All the ones I've seen though say you need a minimum pitch of 15 degrees and a maximum pitch of 60 degrees.

The pitch of the roof where it will go is about 10 degrees.

Would it be a disaster if I installed it if the pitch isn't at the minimum requirements ? The alternative is a get a roof dome but I don't want one of those because so,e of them can't be opened and they are considerably more expensive!

If you can hold off a few weeks, I will probably be stripping a load of good units off on a school in Tottenham, if you can get there to collect, you can take your pick. I think there are some 1200x600 and 1000x1000 there.

No cost. The one in your link is total cack, it will sweat log a pig.
Nice one - ill certainly take you up on that in exchange for some beer- and take your advice about the cheapo one I linked to above

Also my mate wouldn't mind one of those solar tubes (or two) and I can collect for him. He's more than happy to give you some beer for them but like me, doesn't want you to get in the st or take any risks in helping us out for these. You might just be binning them for all I know otherwise but don't want you to get in any trouble for helping us if its from a school and they might be seeking to flog them themselves!
