Low profile LED downlighters
Discussion
I'm replacing the fibreboard ceiling in a downstairs bedroom in my 1960's dormer bungalow with plasterboard. I want to fit 4 downlighters, switched in two banks of 2.
When I had the kitchen diner rebuilt a couple of years ago, we used Aurora GU10 fittings, with Megaman 5w LEDs. I'm very happy with these, but they won't fit in the bedroom - the loft above is boarded, so I need to fit low profile units (4" joists) that don't get too hot.
Any recommendations for suitable units in satin nickel finish? It's a spare bedroom, so I don't want to go overboard. The Aurora/megaman combo were £14 each, trade. Maybe £100 for the 4?
