I have had a shower fitted in a new bathroom similar to this kind of shower column idea with massage jets and stuff.

The pressure at the overhead and jets is fine but on the hand wand is really poor, even when you take the head off the hand held unit the water is barely fast enough to wash your hands. Pressure at the taps in the sink is great and the toilet fills quickly.builder is saying its normal and its clearly not as the hand unit is nowhere near good enough for a shower.

Unit is installed in a top floor flat running from a combi boiler system.

Any ideas?

The system doesn't allow them to run together so it's when it's running on its own. I have tried running it without the head attached and it's very poor. I will try it at the valve and see what the pressure is like

Replace the existing hose with a full bore shower hose wink
It should work with the one supplied with the unit surely? Its hardly a £40 electric shower.
