As I am not one, but when looking around a family friends property today, he's a retired joiner/cabinet maker, my dad took a shining to this, which the cabinet maker found in a skip, repaired and restored, not my cup of tea; but wouldn't mind knowing a little more about it; approx age, origin, and perhaps an idea on value; as i'd like to buy it for my dads birthday
Thanks In advance

Thanks for that, he wanted £250 for it, I think that was more to cover his time; story was he brought it into work on a fri afternoon out of a skip, lads in his shop told him to put it back where he'd found it; so he worked all through the weekend ready for them coming back in on the Monday morning.. wish I'd seen their faces
