After some advice about lighting my garage. I've done a very rough sketch below. The main door is at the bottom of the screen with pedestrian doors to the house and garden at the top. The dog leg at the top is part of the same space although the is a lintel across it. It will house my mill and lathe, so I want decent light there.

I was thinking of using these fitting from Costco, at 3700 lumens per fitting:
batten lights

Will 8 of thee be enough, I was planning on two in the 'machine shop' and the other six down either side of the main space. It's an internal garage so has a ceiling at 2.5m, it and the walls are painted white, and I plan to have a light grey floor.

Thanks for any advice

Got the same coupon code yesterday, hence why they're a good option! Will check on the switching frequency.

Cheers
