Trying to sort out the aesthetics of the wood burner install in our new place. We'd like the flue to emerge from the top of the stove (Firebelly FB1) run up to the ground floor ceiling, then emerge directly above and run the rest of the way to the ceiling at the top of the atrium (double height space) naturally it'll need to be twin wall through the floor. But can it become single skin again on the way up to the roof?

Alternatively is it possible to connect in a twin wall that looks neat and clean on the stove top? its a 125mm connector. Ideally we'll have the same diameter flue below and above the floor to give a consistent look and line through the building,

If there's a floor in the way will you ever see both sections of flue at the same time?
The flue just nicks part of a landing floor - so yes you'll see it top to bottom - hence trying to get the aesthetic right
