Driveway edging

Driveway edging, gravel on one side, grass or planting on the other with only about 25 - 35mm above finished level.

Been Mr indecision for a few days now, cannot decide between:


50 x 150 timber (probably too flexible).

50 x 150 conc edging kerbs (slower installation, permanent but there's a bit of hand batching of concrete).

100 x 100 treated fenceposts on their side (securing when only 100 deep).

Was going for 100 x 200 sleepers but think it's over-kill (will be using sleepers elsewhere for retaining purposes).

Rural location, cost, durability and ease of laying are the governing factors.

Granite Setts would be my favourite, was looking a a garden done today however cost seems high. The Everedge looks good although most of my edges are straight. The curvy bit has the grass lower than the flower bed, would a strimmer remove the finish in time?

That actually looks quite good although not sure it'll work in my case.
Can never get over how expensive recycled materials are, not just these but anything made out or recycled plastic, fencing, decking whatever seems to be very expensive. On a par with using fresh, raw material. Recycled stuff needs to become less expensive before people start using it everyday. (Gets off soapbox).
