Hinge to allow recessed uPVC door to open fully?
Discussion
I have a set of uPVC doors which were installed in a recess, which means they won't open fully 180degrees, only 90degrees. Is there a hinge that I can buy which would fix this problem? Alternatively, I wondered if I could hack into the wall a bit just in the area where the existing hinge hits it. See pics

As do ours. But moving the frame is a faff as it means the dining room floor tiles stop too short. Also, I'd presume that it might be more of an issue fixing the frame to the wall, as you would be hitting the join between plasterboard and brick wall?Gassing Station | Homes, Gardens and DIY | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
