theres a mouse in me garage, what am I gonna do?

As the title says ive got mice. Its a garage in a block set apart from paolow towers and ordinarily I am a live and let live kind of guy. However, theyve taken to feasting on my homebrew supplies and the place is awash with droppings. Does there exist some sort of humane way of keeping them out? its a garage with an 'up and over' door and there is a gap at the bottom which presumably they use to get in and out. theres no power in there and my cat just wouldnt like being shut in there to do her job. I know ultrasonic things exist to drive them away. do they work? Id prefer to steer clear of 'humane traps' because I really am after a fit and forget solution. Does such a thing exist?
