As the title says really can anyone tell me what fish this is? I've completely forgotten, sure its some type of barb. Reason is the little bd has eaten 14 fish now and will not only eat his food but algae wafers and pellets as well so he's got to go.

Sorry pictures aren't the best.

It's about 10CM. It's not haddock and unfortunately not edible, i don' think anyway. Think you could be right with the silver barb. Just need to tell the local aquarium what it is, see if they'l take it.

Big fish, if I ever do go for a decent size tank (biggest I've got is a collection of 180's, 90's and 65L's) I'd love a few of them.
I wouldn't there hungry fella's. My tanks 125 litres but i haven't got many fish in there at the moment, mainly because this one tends to like his live food.

Yeah, its one of those fanciful ideas for an imaginary time in the future when I have the a) time to get a decent big tank, b) the room to setup a fish room and c) the money to finance both.
I would have a bigger tank but far in to the future. I read there the fish really requires a tank of 790 litres eek Where would the tv fit?
