Planning permission

Does anyone know what is regarded to need planning permission?

I'm thinking of building a small brick, basically shed type thing in my front garden to put my motorbike in, nothing too big, a bit larger than a motorbike.

as it would be classed as a permanant structure, would it need planning permission as its that small?

no it will not be attached to the house, will be stand alone.

cant do back garden because I would have to drive the bike through the house.

as for making it wood. I was thinking about that, but then thought against it, as It can be easy broken into.

might have to ring up the counsil and find out all the details tomorrow.
