Go on then... thinking about doing it at home, just with a handpull pump on it and a couple of optics etc beer Is this gonna make me look like a lord of gayness or a council house chav? Or can they be done quite cooly? scratchchin

It's the scampi fries that clearly make that outside bar what it is wink

In the lounge or kitchen = chav.
In the mens room or a specific room for entertaining, definately.

Wifeys stepdad and mum have a whole bar at the end of their garden that was modeled on a bar they use in Jamaica. It is a proper structure built around a tree, with a round roof, 3 enclosed sides, lights, wall signs, optics, bar mats, games, 8 speaker hifi setup, and all sorts of drinking/pub related items. It also has seats around the edge, tables in the middle, and a decked area outside and leading up to it.

It can easily accomodate 20 people in comfort and can be shut off in bad weather to create a totally warm and waterproof mini pub basically, so can be used in the winter. It even has a room on the side full of fridges that are filled with beer.

Many happy and drunken evenings have been had up there.
That sounds likes it's worth a picture or invite winkbiggrin

Only use I could think of for a home bar would be for piling in after hours. And frankly, by then I would be too drunk to not destroy it anyway.

I have some friends who turned one of their many barns into a fully functioning old English pub
Is it called the Bay Horse?

I'll see if I can dig some pics out. They may contain drunken people in random poses though!
Even more intrigued now...
