Stopped by the local pub with Otto on Tuesday.

A nice couple gave Otto a fuss and asked about him (breed, age etc). Then the gent asks me if he can take a picture of Otto as he is an artist who does pet portraits.

He sent me this yesterday.

Thoughts?

How can dogs always find fetid mud pits wherever they go?

Fortunately there was also a river

Little Cookie had her first cut today (adult coat coming through). Lost all her curls, for now anyway.

If you need another dog-friendly pub recommendation, the Bunch of Grapes in Newcastle Emlyn (our nearest town) is great - it does good food too.

Have you done the walk from the bridge at Llechryd past the hall to the Coracle centre at Cilgerran? It's a nice riverside walk we've done a few times.

Yep - did that first day, lovely walk along the river. No Otters spotted though.. There's lots of evidence of wind damage/landslides down the valley which is sad to see

The castle was great though, quite a climb up !
