Devastated to say we’ve lost Murphy this morning. He took a turn yesterday and went off his feet. Saw the vet who wasn’t certain what was going on but agreed we should take him home to rest and see what happens.
This morning he couldn’t move, it’s like his legs were stiff and stopped working. He was so sad and you could see in his eyes he’d had enough. We had to let him go.

The vet thinks it was probably neurological. Maybe tumors pushing on a different part of his brain. We’re devastated. Especially my husband as Murphy was very much his shadow.

Neville is a bit lost without his big brother, he absolutely knew. Rather than bounding in to him like he normally does he gently licked his nose and sniffed him.

Goodnight moo. You were the goodest of boys.
Aww, so sorry to hear this especially after the previous post where he sounded a bit better!

Puck came to her first Mountain Bike race with me on Sunday, out the door at 7.30 and lots of people socialising and being looked after by various people whilst I raced, and then more wandering watching my friends race, didn't get back until 14:30 and then had family over including my sisters dog, so she's been exhausted since, barely moved much off the sofa yesterday and didn't want to leave her crate this morning. Friend did get a couple of pictures of her in between being accosted by every man, woman and child walking past my car biggrin

Thought i'd post my two furballs

First up is Rupert, our 6 year old Chow Chow

Favourite passtimes include sleeping in everyones way, ignoring commands and sitting in the garden watching the world go by

Next up is Casper, our 7 month old Keeshond/Chaos Demon

Favorite hobbies include bullying Rupert, eating and causing general chaos wherever possible

Both great dogs, completely different personalities but they do get along the majority of the time

16 weeks now, very clever and obedient, which I believe is going to be a blessing a curse, she's almost figured out how to open doors which could be the beginning of the end...

Not sure you've planed this edge totally square Dad.

Yeah, I know Charlie is a cat, even if he's not certain. He takes a lot of behavioral cues from Cookie (JR Terrier).
I've been looking at the bits of this project for a while thinking "where have the dirty marks come from?" Charlie has access to The Shed via a catflap. And dirty feet.

Exactly the same as Billie pretty much (born 08/12). Billie has been brilliant on the whole; very good recall, picks up training very quickly. Biggest frustration with her is the chewing on hands! And eating st.

Brilliant video of Rupert. rofl Classic Chow reaction. When they lay down they’re like concrete statues that just won’t move.
