Phobias....Creatures that make you panic ?

My 20 Year old Son runs from Crabs. Not helped when you see one of these buggers in a case at Manchester Uni!!

We get lots of these at work....



I run down the yard screaming like a small child when they chase me.....

Hornets I just steer well clear of, but these things are just too damn big to be a UK insect.

Cows. I once had a dream where I was being chased by a cow and every time I jumped over a wall it sunk into the ground and the cow kept on coming for me. Scary times!

after my recent visit to Canada I have discovered that I am terrified of big black bears cutting off my only exit from a canyon and walking towards me.
Strangely my OH who is terrified of butterflies and UK house spiders was not fussed by the bear.

Were you struggling to dump a fat bird who wouldn't take a hint, at the time?

Me, not really scared of any insects or a like, but I can't watch any medical programme where they cut people up.

Wasps, especially when I have just got out of the shower, am stark bk naked and there is a fking massive wasp in the room.

Spiders, I can't even look at a picture of one without feeling uneasy, the size dictates how close I can get without freaking out, but I'll always be nervous when I see one. Even reading about spiders makes my hairs stand on end.
Pretty much everything else in the world I'm ok with, I've been attacked by an arabian sea snake (x8 more deadly than a cobra and it was biting my fins!) and swam with bull sharks in open water, no problems or fears, but put me in a room with a spider the size of a pound coin and I'll run through the concrete to get out or battle him to the death with a shoe
